A commission is a collaboration between you and me. You bring the vision and ideas, and I bring them to life through my artistic style and technique.Commissions are a way to capture a place, feeling, or memory that is meaningful to you.how it works

Whether you have a specific photograph you’d like me to paint in my style, or an idea you’d like me to develop into a painting, I welcome both approaches.
Clear, well-lit reference photos are ideal to work from.
I’d also love it if you shared the story or meaning behind the piece. Knowing what makes a scene meaningful to you helps me understand what you’re hoping to capture and the direction I take with the painting.
After we’ve discussed your ideas, I develop the composition with your approval and get started on your painting.
In some cases, I may be able to photograph a location locally to use as reference. We can arrange this after the initial deposit, depending on the location and my availability.

Pricing is based on size, starting at $2 per square inch (for example, an 18 × 24” painting would start at $864).
Final pricing depends on dimensions and overall complexity. A quote will be provided once your ideas have been discussed.

I work with oils, which are a slow-drying paint, and I paint in layers, allowing time for each stage to dry before moving on to the next.
Timelines can vary depending on the size of the piece and my current schedule. On average, commissions are completed within 3–5 months. Larger or more detailed pieces may take longer. This timeframe also allows adequate drying time before the final varnish is applied.
If you have a specific deadline, feel free to mention it when inquiring, and I will do my best to accommodate it when possible.

A 30% deposit is required to secure your commission. The remaining balance must be paid in full before receiving the painting. I offer 3 and 6 month payment plans if you would prefer to pay in instalments. Click [here] to see my investment page for more information.

Once your painting is complete and final payment has been received, it will be packaged and prepared to go home with you.
If you are local, pickup can be arranged. Otherwise, the painting will be shipped, with shipping costs calculated based on location and size.
Please allow additional time for delivery once the painting has been completed and varnished.
Commissions will be painted in my own unique style. While your references guide the piece, the final painting will be an interpretation, not a precise copy, allowing for a more painterly result.Questions you may have

I currently accept commissions for landscapes and scenes from nature. I especially love painting the way light and weather affect the mood of a scene. While I’ve painted people and pets in the past, my work is now focused solely on landscapes. If you have an idea in mind, feel free to reach out and we can talk about whether it would be a good fit for my work.
